The Subaru Impreza WRX STI was born out of a love for rally racing. Since the late 1980's, the Subaru Tecnica Institute (from which STI takes its name) has been producing high-performance, all-wheel drive, turbo-charged versions of the cars with which the Subaru World Rally Team has won rally races the world over.
